We make our classic bread with a sourdough starter that’s been a secret family recipe for many years. The result is a slightly tangy, malty loaf with an airy, light texture, and less gluten. We make our bread with wheat flour, Bavarian flour, pure filtered water, yeast, Bali sea salt, brown sugar and cumin seeds. Bavarian flour is a mix of rye, roasted wheat malt flour and barley malt extract that gives bread a slightly malty flavor. Rye is a good grain to have in your diet as it helps with heart and digestive health as well as controlling blood sugar. Rye flour also delivers a lower gluten content than wheat.
