We make our pretzels with pure filtered water, wheat flour, Bavarian flour, butter, baking soda, yeast and Bali sea salt. Bavarian flour is a mix of rye, roasted wheat malt flour and barley malt extract that gives bread a rich malted flavor and extra fiber. Rye has the benefit of being a gluten-free grain. Malt is derived from barley, which is packed with fiber and potassium and is good for heart health and digestion. Butter is a good source of Vitamin A, which is good for healthy skin and eyes, and a strong immune system. It also provides Vitamin E, which protects cells against free radical damage, and healthy fats, which are important for proper brain function and raising the good blood cholesterol (HDL) levels.
