Our Sweet Sambal is a mild version of the fiery red sambal sauce found in kitchens, food stalls and warungs across Indonesia. We make it for people who want a chili condiment that has less heat in the taste. Use it to give flavour to a wide range of dishes: egg, fish, meat or plant based. We make it with chilis, tomatoes, Bali heritage garlic, cane sugar, coconut oil and a pinch of Bali sea salt. Both chilis and tomatoes are high in Vitamin C, Vitamin A and heart-healthy lycopenes.
