Naturally sweetened with raw honey and palm sugar, our granola has just the right amount of crunch from cashews and rolled oats. We also pack in five different types of all-natural fruit, dried gently at low temperature in a food dehydrator. We mix together rolled oats, Balinese palm sugar, coconut oil, white sesame seeds, cashew nuts, raw honey, cinnamon powder, clove powder, Bali sea salt, dried apple, dried banana, goji berries, dried papaya, and dried pineapple for our granola.
Goji berries and papaya are packed with Vitamin C, which is important in maintaining a healthy immune system. Bananas are loaded with potassium, which is important for good heart, nerve and muscle function. Apples are linked to a lower risk of diabetes, are good for bones and the immune system and may help with weight loss. Sesame seeds are a good source of fiber and healthy fats and may help lower cholesterol and high blood pressure. Cashews have a low glycemic index (GI), which means they won’t spike your blood sugar levels, and are full of fiber, to help digestion, healthy fats and high-quality plant-based protein. Coconut oil is a good source of healthy fats that are important for proper brain function, reducing hunger and raising the good blood cholesterol (HDL) levels. Cinnamon has anti-inflammatory properties and is good for people with diabetes as it helps lower blood sugar levels and can improve sensitivity to insulin. Clove is used in traditional medicine to support healthy liver function and help regulate blood sugar levels.
